Maxus Arts

Maxus Arts opens its art publishing with a call for help on choosing the best 250 art museums and public galleries in the world to experience traditional 2D and 3D art as well as 4D [time-based] and 5D [interactive] art.

Today here are some ideas of a few of the coolest to see.

Guggenheim, Bilbao

Frank Gehry’s spectacular shiny building with installations and site specific work from Jeff Koons, Louise Bourgeoise and Jenny Holzer make this a key place to visit since it opened in 1997.

Picasso Museum, Antibes

Picasso’s studio in 1946 at the Grimaldi chateau looking across the Mediterranean on the French Riviera, showing ceramics, sculptures and sketches.

Musee Des Beaux Arts, Montreal

Moshie Safdie’s 1991 extension pulls together the 19th and early 20th century buildings housing Canadian art from its European inception as well as European Art from Memling to recent Gormley acquisitions.

More to come and photographs to follow.
